The Meaning Behind the Name “HUADA”
Every new company needs a name. Chen wanted a name that was simple, memorable, and represented his hopes for the future.
“Hua” (华) — Roots
Represents China and the company’s roots in Chinese manufacturing. This is where we come from, and it is something we are proud of.
“Da” (达) — Ambition
Represents progress, connection, and reaching further — expressing the ambition to grow and bring HUADA products to more customers and markets.
And so, the name HUADA was born. At the time, no one knew how far those two characters would eventually travel. Chen only knew one thing:
“For a small company to survive, it first had to make good products.”
He rented a small workshop of approximately 200 square meters in Nanzhuang Town, Nanhai, Foshan, and the earliest form of HUADA Electric began to take shape.
Products Are How You Earn Trust
The market does not play favorites. But a reputation can be built one product at a time. HUADA held the line on every process, every batch shipped, every after-sales promise — and built its name in the industry.
- 1994HUADA Electric officially established, focused on low-voltage distribution products, supplying local factories and construction projects.
- 1999Expanded into high and low-voltage complete switchgear, taking on larger-scale industrial power distribution projects.
- 2007Opened the first formal factory in Foshan. Production capacity grew significantly; expansion into markets beyond Guangdong began.
Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan — more cities, more projects, more places where the HUADA name began to appear.

- 1983Founder Mr. Chen was born in Nanzhuang Town, Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong Province, into an ordinary family.
- 2004The predecessor of HUADA Electric was established. Mr. Chen began accumulating experience in the electrical industry.
- 2009+HUADA began systematically expanding its product line, gradually building a complete power distribution product system.
- 2026HUADA Electric goes global — officially launching its international expansion strategy.
